You’ve got to spend money to lose money! [ COMIC ]
Maybe Sony had to buy these advertisement blocks months in advance, but then again they’ve known about this for a while (I know there are much earlier reports of shortage, I just don’t feel like looking… you want to send me one I will update the news). Regardless, I doesn’t seem like a smart business move to promote something you don’t have. Fine you want to build hype, but how long before reality overpowers the hype. People are only going to wait so long before they give up and move on to something else.
Who knows… maybe Sony’s Blu-Ray player with a PS3 sticker slapped on it will wind up being the best decision they ever made, but then again it might be their worst.
