The Minus World [ COMIC ]
I think the reference in this comic will be lost on those who aren’t retro gamers. Yes, it is a Super Mario Bros. reference. And yes, the original Super Mario Bros. is the most famous video game of all time. But the Minus World was a glitch in the original NES version of Super Mario Bros. and did not appear in any of the newer incarnation of the game. So unless you played the original version on the NES and new the trick to get to the Minus World you might have never seen nor heard of it. Then again, I could be wrong.
Hoping this is the last single panel comic for a while. Time is not my friend and single panels are much easier to do… usually. I’ve got some much longer strip ideas planned, but they require time. Time unfortunately is becoming more and more sparse these days.
I can’t wait until I can afford to get one of those Cintis 12WXs. Everyone that I know loves theirs. It will speed up the comic process and definitely help with the recreating the Konami Code comic as a poster. Cross your fingers that I do well at KatsuCon next weekend. Then I might be able to afford one when I get back.
